Appliance Setup



Below are the steps to configuring the setup of your new reevert appliance.  The setup allows two types of configurations:

Domain Configuration: The Domain Configuration allows you to join your appliance with your existing domain, allowing domain users access to shares, and to easily replicate share permissions on files.

Workgroup Configuration: The Workgroup Configuration allows you to join your appliance to an existing or new workgroup, and setup an Administrator account for your appliance.

Domain Setup

User Information

Please fill in the contact information for the user who will be listed under the license.

Domain Information

Please fill in a domain administrator's username, password, domain name ( include TLD ), domain controller name, and finally, the domain controller IP.

Appliance Information

Please fill in the appliance's host name and IP address that you have chosen to be. If your network has a DHCP controller, the appliance will automatically retrieve an IP address.

Workgroup Setup

User Information

Please fill in the contact information for the user who will be listed under the license.

Workgroup Information

Please fill in the name of the workgroup you choose to join, the administrator username you choose to manage your appliance, and the password for the administrator account.

Appliance Information

Please fill in the appliance's host name and IP address that you have chosen to be. If your network has a DHCP controller, the appliance will automatically retrieve an IP address.
