We are excited to announce the immediate availability of reevert firmware 1.13.0 and reevert appliance OVA 1.13.0. This version will be available on Amazon Marketplace soon. You can upgrade your existing appliances by logging into the admin panel.
- Major UI/UX Overhaul
The most important change in this release is a much improved UI/UX. Almost all sections of the administration panel have gone through a UI/UX review and have been updated. This includes a brand new navigation system, unified look and feel for different UI elements, less busy and much cleaner operational pages, as well as an overall improved UI performance.
- Automated Bare Metal Restores
The image backup system can now generate a custom built WinPE based ISO image to perform an automatic image backup restore. Just select the backup you'd like to restore and reevert will generate a restore ISO targeting that backup for you! Boot up the machine and let it do the work. This is very useful when it comes to performing full restores.
- Automated Cancellation for Backup Sets and Sync'd Remote Shares
If a backup set sync or a remote share sync remains active for more than 12 hours, the firmware will automatically cancel that job. The job will be automatically resumed an hour later. This is a safety mechanism to ensure the jobs are not frozen or stall for any reason. In normal situations, no backup job or remote sync share should take more than 12 hours to run.
- Updated Connection Agent
We have an updated version of the connection agent and administrators have the ability to switch to SMB protocol v1.0 to communicate with legacy Windows machines if needed.
- Improved OS Partition Clean Up System
The Operating System partition clean-up system has been greatly improved and will perform more effective clean-ups when needed.
- Global firmware performance and stability improvements
A lot of system-wide updates, process improvements, and bug fixes have been implemented on underlying helper tools and sub-systems to improve performance, reliability, functionality, and stability.
