Microsoft Is Taking Browser Security Seriously with Windows 10

A week after Microsoft released the big Anniversary Update, a new update has rolled out. They released a variety of patches and fixes, many focused on boosting security.

Security and vulnerabilities are a big topic for Microsoft which is why this latest update focused on improving their browsers. Fixes were added on Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft’s Edge browsers to improve the overall reliability and security. In addition, security patches were added to fix vulnerabilities that could potentially allow attackers to remotely execute code.  

Within that update were fixes for PDF vulnerabilities. If the PDF was opened locally or online, it could’ve allowed hackers to remotely execute code and take control of the PC.

Other security fixes were made on Microsoft Office, Skype for Business, Windows 10 Mobile, and miscellaneous features. To read more about them, follow the link below:
